Welcome to Tyro Karting!

Tyro Karting will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2023. Over the past nine years, invaluable experience has been gained on managing a Owner Driver racing series based on equal equipment. Tyro is all about improving driver skills, developing race craft, and above all, racing with respect for fellow competitors. With us, you get to race competitively on a level-playing field. From the experienced to the brand new to the sport, we’ll provide you with professional driver and mechanic coaching so you can really enjoy your next race weekend.

Tyro Junior

To celebrate our anniversary, we will be launching in 2023 an additional class to Mini Tyro, the Tyro Junior Rotax class for drivers from the year of their 13th birthday through to the end of the year of their 18th birthday.

The kart? Manufactured by Wright Karts who have over 40 years’ experience of manufacturing and racing karts throughout the world.

The engine? The Evo Rotax Junior motor. Tyro Junior Rotax follows the concepts and ethos from Tyro Mini.

All the karts are equal with no additional parts allowed which change or enhance the performance of the kart.
