Tyro Mini and Tyro Junior Karting are part of a very exciting sport
From Verstappen to Alonso to Hamilton, karting is where all Formula 1 drivers started their racing career!
Each test session and each race improving your lap times and race craft... Rushing down the straight at up to 75mph, braking hard for a bend, picking your line, easing through the bend and then back on the throttle again to power out of the bend… Chasing another driver, watching their lines like a hawk for an error, looking for space up the inside, pouncing and gaining another place…
Sound exciting? Yes, karting is very exciting and an enjoyable sport!
Race on slicks and wets
In addition to learning how to drive on slick tyres, you’ll learn how to get the grip from driving on treaded wet tyres. You will be amazed how quick you can drive in pouring rain - the grip offered by wet tyres has to be experienced to be believed.
Soon, your family and friends will be in awe and mightily impressed with your ability to race in even the wettest conditions.
Have fun off and on track
Tyro Karting offers even more than just a chance to drive a kart. Get time with the other drivers who fast become your friends off track. When you’re part of Tyro Karting, before long you have a whole bunch of young people your own age who you race alongside on track and socialise with off track. We can even bring your family into karting, guiding them through the first few years as you grow into a competent kart driver.
Become a champion
As you gain more experience, you can start to win races and even possibly championships.
With our help, you’ll get the opportunity to become a champion driver as Tyro Karting race at several circuits who include us in their Club Championships. With many different circuits, there is a good chance of picking up a championship and at the top of the list is the annual Tyro Mini and Tyro Junior Karting Championship.
